Story Pole collects nothing. There is no account, no server of ours for it to talk to, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
Everything. The measurements you type, the calculations you save to the Log, the names you give them, and your settings are all written to the app's own storage on the device. None of it is transmitted anywhere.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. We have no copy, because we never had one.
One thing, and only if you choose it: a purchase. Unlocking the paid calculators is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Apple tells the app whether the unlock has been bought; we never see your name, your email, or your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The rest of the app works with the device in airplane mode.
Sending a result to a colleague uses the iOS share sheet. What you send, and who you send it to, is between you, the app you send it with, and the person receiving it. Nothing routes through us.
Story Pole is a tool for building work. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be to say so more clearly rather than to start collecting something.
